Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and the parts reference catalog made available through it (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is operated by its owner (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Site.
1. What the Site is
The Site is a free, publicly accessible, read-only reference catalog of aerospace and industrial fasteners and related hardware, organized around publicly published standard designations (such as AN, MS, NAS, NASM, BAC, Hi-Lok, Cherry, AS, and MIL specifications). It is provided for general informational and reference purposes only. The Site does not sell parts, process orders, or fulfill quotes. Any “quote list,” “saved parts,” “compare,” or “BOM” features are personal, browser-side convenience tools only and do not constitute an offer to sell, a price quotation, or a binding commitment of any kind.
2. No reliance — accuracy disclaimer
The information on the Site is compiled and derived from a variety of public and third-party sources and may contain errors, omissions, outdated values, or inaccuracies. The Site is not an authoritative source and is not a substitute for official published standards or manufacturer documentation.
You must not rely on the Site for any engineering, design, procurement, manufacturing, maintenance, repair, airworthiness, safety, compliance, or regulatory decision. Before acting on any part number, specification, dimension, material, or cross-reference shown on the Site, you are solely responsible for independently verifying that information against the official, current published standard and the relevant manufacturer’s authoritative documentation. The Site does not provide engineering, legal, regulatory, or other professional advice.
3. No affiliation; trademarks and standards
We are independent and are not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any standards-development organization, government agency, manufacturer, distributor, or supplier. All part numbers, standard designations, brand names, company names, and trademarks referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification, interoperability, and reference purposes. Such use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by the owners of those marks.
4. Intellectual property and the compiled database
While individual public standard numbers are not themselves owned by us, the selection, coordination, arrangement, normalization, enrichment, and presentation of the catalog — that is, the compiled database and its structure — are our property and are protected by applicable intellectual-property and database rights. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, extract, re-utilize, store, republish, distribute, sell, license, mirror, frame, or create derivative works from all or any substantial part of the Site’s content or database without our prior written permission.
You may view individual catalog pages and make limited, occasional, manual use of the information for your own internal, non-commercial reference. Any other use — in particular any systematic or bulk use — requires our prior written consent.
5. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
To protect the integrity, availability, and intellectual property of the Site, you agree that you will not, and will not attempt to, and will not permit any person or automated system acting on your behalf to:
- access, scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, index, scan, or bulk-download any portion of the Site or its underlying data by any automated or systematic means;
- use any robot, bot, script, headless browser, data-mining tool, or similar automated method to access, monitor, copy, or extract content or data from the Site;
- copy, reproduce, or reconstruct all or a substantial part of the catalog or database, or use the Site’s data to build, train, populate, or augment any competing product, dataset, model, or service;
- circumvent, disable, bypass, or interfere with any rate limiting, bot protection, access control, caching, or other security or usage-management measure on the Site;
- impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Site’s infrastructure, or otherwise interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the servers or networks that host it;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, data, or network connected to the Site;
- remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, or misrepresent your identity or the source of your requests;
- use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or harmful purpose, or in violation of these Terms.
We may employ technical measures (including rate limiting and bot mitigation) to enforce these restrictions. Any access that circumvents or attempts to circumvent such measures is unauthorized and is a breach of these Terms.
6. Suspension and termination of access
We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, restrict, suspend, block, throttle, or terminate your access to the Site (in whole or in part) at any time and for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Site or other users. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time without notice or liability.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, DATA, AND FUNCTIONALITY ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES AS TO THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, CURRENCY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE OR ANY RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY ARISING FROM ANY DECISION MADE OR ACTION TAKEN IN RELIANCE ON INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE SITE. BECAUSE THE SITE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Site’s owner from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
10. Privacy and local data
The Site is a static website and does not require you to create an account or submit personal information to browse the catalog. Convenience features such as the quote list, saved parts, and recently-viewed history are stored locally in your own browser and are not transmitted to us. The Site’s hosting and content-delivery providers may automatically process limited technical information (such as IP address and request metadata) for security, abuse-prevention, and operational purposes. We do not sell personal information.
11. Third-party links and resources
The Site may reference or link to third-party standards, resources, or websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party resource, and inclusion of any reference does not imply endorsement.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates when these Terms were last updated. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Site are governed by the laws of [Your State/Province and Country], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in [Your County/City, State/Province] for any dispute not subject to other agreed dispute resolution.
14. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreements. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely.
